A tourist visa is a document which allows foreign nationals to travel to Russia as a tourist. This type of visa is issued for a maximum of 30 days and can not be extended. For this type of visa you need to know exactly where and how long you will be staying without diverting from your planned itinerary.  For a tourist visa, you must have confirmed accommodation for the duration of your stay.

Documents you will require for a Russian Tourist Visa are:

Original passport, valid for at least 6 months.
Application form that has been completed electronically on-line and printed out.
One passport photograph.
Tourist visa support documents (hotel voucher and confirmation of tourist acceptance).
Application fee.

*The above documents are for UK citizens only. Additional documents may be required for citizens of other nationalities.

Please note: It is impossible to obtain a visa from the Russian Consulate without a voucher and booking confirmation.
