 The Mariinsky Opera and Ballet Theatre - Built in 1859, this impressive green and white theatre is the home of the internationally famous Kirov Ballet. This theatre has played host to some of Russia's greatest performers, including Pavlova, Nureev and Nizhinsky.
 The St. Petersburg Academic Mussorgsky Opera and Ballet Theatre - Built in 1833, it is the home of the Second largest musical stage in St. Petereburg with a repertoire including classical opera and ballet.
 The Hermitage Theatre - Built in 1785 as the former Imperial Court theatre of the Winter Palace for Catherine the Great. The repertoire includes performances of Tchaikovsky's ballet "Swan Lake" and gala concerts by ballet stars accompanied by the St. Peterburg Syhmpony Orchestra.
 Konstantin Tachkin's St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre - Founded in 1994 as a private theatre specialising in upholding the calssical form of Russian ballet. The ballet troupe has some gifted dancers who tour extensively throughout the world.
